What is the AIIA?

The UK dating industry is at large, unlicensed and unregulated, although the Office of Fair Trading has produced a suggested Code of Practice to uphold standards. The Association of Independent Introduction Agencies, a voluntary organisation formed by Jill Rhodes-Harvey, adheres to the OFT guidelines in all respects. So all clients using an AIIA member agency can be assured of a high quality service.

The AIIA aim to monitor and improve introduction services and client relationships throughout the industry. Over the last decade ABIA has been the ONLY guiding hand for many introduction agencies, until now! The Association Independent Introduction Agencies will work in a very similar way, offering guidance, and a strict code of practice for agencies to follow. However, the AIIA aims to help the smaller independent introduction agency as well, who perhaps don't use an office, or work in a less conventional manner, yet still offer a genuine service.

AIIA registered agencies are committed to providing a high standard of service to their clients. A list of agencies will be available to the public via the website.
